Hundreds of jazz lovers will be headed to Oakhurst and picnicking at sunset again in September to enjoy some of the best jazz artists in the southeast. The Oakhurst Neighborhood Association announces another great season of FREE outdoor jazz concerts this spring, beginning Thursday, September 5. They run every Thursday in September.
All concerts begin at 7 pm and end at 9 pm and are free and open to the public. The location is the lawn in front of The Solarium at 321 W. Hill St. 30030 in the Oakhurst neighborhood of Decatur. Concerts take place rain or shine. The rain location is The Solarium.
To keep our Jazz Nights as enjoyable as possible for everyone please observe these simple rules:
- Blankets Only – No Lawn Chairs
- Throw Away Your Trash – Garbage Cans Provided
- Kids are warmly welcomed. Please keep an eye on your own children at all times. We have some traffic on a nearby street and personal property at neighboring residences and business that could be potentially dangerous for unattended children.
- We have new and improved landscaping on The Solarium grounds. Please be extra cautious not to trample the new flower beds.
